About Dr. Verlicco

Dr. Verlicco holds a Psy.D. in School Psychology. She specializes in psychological evaluations for children and adolescents with a variety of social-emotional and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Verlicco is a certified School Psychologist in the State of Massachusetts as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Psychologist in Massachusetts. Dr. Verlicco worked for several years in a residential treatment program for adolescents with social-emotional disorders. She has conducted evaluations and delivered direct therapeutic services in schools for over a decade. Dr. Verlicco is well-versed in the provision of educational and social service recommendations, interpretation of school evaluations, guidance related to the IEP and 504 process.

Dr. Verlicco has conducted multiple professional development trainings for teachers and paraprofessionals. Trainings topics include trauma sensitive approaches, differential diagnoses for ADHD, and improving attention and behavior through exercise. Dr. Verlicco is also interested in research, particularly with regard to the impact of exercise on executive functions and mood. In her spare time, Dr. Verlicco enjoys skiing and other outside activities with her husband and two children, running, and spending time with family and friends.
