About Dr. Tichovolsky

Dr. Tichovolsky completed her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at UMass Amherst, with a concentration in child, adolescent, and family clinical psychology. Before beginning her graduate studies, she worked as a one-on-one aide at a preschool for children with developmental disabilities and completed a 3-year research assistantship at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), studying families, parenting, and child development.


Over the past 8 years, Dr. Tichovolsky has provided neuropsychological, psychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings (e.g., community mental health centers, schools, private practices) throughout Massachusetts. She has gained particular expertise in assessing for learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and mood and anxiety disorders. She has also provided outpatient therapy for children, teenagers, adults, and families as well as consultations to teachers and parents of children who are struggling in the preschool setting. Dr. Tichovolsky is in the final stages of obtaining licensure in Massachusetts.
